Dangerously Delicious Maple Walnut Bars


I can’t even begin to tell you how fantastic these came out! The recipe isn’t too hard to follow and the results are simply fantastic.  This is sure to be a hit with everyone in the family and a dessert people will ask you to make often! Enjoy!!!



Dangerously Delicious Maple Walnut Bars
  • 1½ sticks softened butter
  • ⅓ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1¾ cup All Purpose Flour
  • ½ Tbls Salt
  • 1 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • ⅔ cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Lightly coat pan with softened butter
  3. For Crust cream butter and ⅓ cup sugar, slowly add flour and salt until mixed. Press crust into prepared pan and chill for 30 minutes
  4. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.
  5. For Filling
  6. Beat syrup, ⅔ cup sugar, eggs, vanilla, and ¼ tsp salt until well mixed then add walnuts and mix.
  7. Pour filling over crust.
  8. Bake bars until filling is golden brown about 30 -40 Min
