“Frozen” Inspired White Chocolate Marshmallow Popcorn Balls

When Kenna and I decided to make these popcorn balls we didn’t know how much fun we were going to have or how yummy they would turn out.  As we were forming them into balls she had mentioned how they looked like snowballs and soon was asking to make snowmen like her new Olaf doll ( he’s the loveable snowman in Disney’s new movie Frozen).

Kenna is more than excited for Frozen and picked out Elsa the Snow Queen for her costume this Halloween

Here is the delicious recipe for White Chocolate Marshmallow Popcorn balls!

What you will need!

6 cups popped popcorn
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
10 ounces marshmallows
6 ounces white chocolate

Blue Sugar Crystals Optional*

Sprinkle popcorn with salt. Melt butter in a large pan over low heat. Add marshmallows and chocolate; cook, stirring until melted.

Remove from heat; stir in popcorn. Shape into balls using a 2-inch ice-cream scoop or Popcorn Baller. Transfer to baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let stand until cool. I then used Pretzels, Marshmallows, and Candy Corn to make Olaf come to life!

Disney’s Frozen storms into theaters on Thanksgiving!! We cant wait!!
